Players in Chelton, hinging out with the coach.
In 2019, we had the pleasure of welcoming a baseball mission team from the United States to Precision Sports Academy (PSA). They introduced the sport to our young athletes — and it was an instant hit. The children quickly fell in love with baseball’s energy, teamwork, and excitement.
However, despite the enthusiasm, we soon faced an important challenge: player safety.
Unlike soccer, baseball demands specialized safety gear and close supervision to prevent injury. Unfortunately, due to a lack of essential protective equipment — such as batting helmets, nets, catcher’s gear, and safety screens — we had no choice but to pause the program to avoid putting our players at risk. Several young athletes experienced minor injuries, reinforcing the need for proper equipment before resuming.
Baseball is a sport with fast-moving balls and physical contact, making injury prevention a top priority. Without the right gear and training tools, young players are vulnerable to being hit or hurt during drills and games. While our coaches are well-trained and passionate, we must prioritize creating a safe environment for every child.
We haven’t given up on baseball.
Our dream is to revive and expand the program once we have secured the proper funding and equipment to ensure our kids can play safely. Baseball not only offers physical benefits, but it also teaches valuable life lessons in patience, strategy, and teamwork — all aligned with PSA’s mission to develop well-rounded, empowered youth.
We’re currently seeking partners, donors, and sponsors to help us acquire:
With your support, we can bring baseball back to PSA — safely and sustainably — and give more children the opportunity to discover a sport they truly love.
Let’s keep the dream alive — together.

creating an enabling environment for our young people.
It feels so good to be selected in a team.
